Executive Bio

Mr. Dave Shaby serves as Senior Vice President of Business Operations at Bright Horizons Family Solutions, Inc. Mr. Shaby is responsible for all strategic elements and implementation of parent marketing, enrollment programs and customer service for all of Bright Horizons child development centers. In addition, he manages corporate infrastructure and systems, including information technology, facilities maintenance, supply management and the business operations team. He served as a Division Vice President of Bright Horizons for two years, managing the business and operations of 40 locations in the Northeast and consulting with and serving clients including Pfizer, UBS, The United Nations, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Time Warner. His 20 years in management include 10 total years in education management with prior roles at Linkage, Inc., as Director of sales and operations, where he was responsible for launching and managing university-based adult education campuses and served as a Director of sales and education for Berlitz International for several years. Mr. Shaby holds a degree in Business management from Ithaca College and a Masters degree in Journalism from Northeastern University.
