Executive Bio
Ms. Linda A. Mason co-founded Bright Horizons Family Solutions, Inc. in 1986 and served as its President from 1986 to 1998. Prior to 1986, Ms. Mason served as a Management Consultant with Booz, Allen and Hamilton. Ms. Mason served as Program Officer of CARE in Thailand. She has extensive experience with Bright Horizons Family Solutions and her sense of mission and child advocacy work. She has been the Director of Bright Horizons Family Solutions, Inc. since 1986 and served as its Chairman since 1988. She serves as the Chairman of Board of Advisors at The Yale School of Management. She served as a Director Emeritus of Whole Foods Market, Inc. Ms. Mason serves on the boards of Horizonsfor Homeless Children, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Mercy Corps and the Packard Foundation. She served as a Trustee of Yale University. She served as a Co-Director of the Save the Children relief and development effort in the Sudan. From 1993 to 2007, Ms. Mason served as a Director of Whole Foods Market, Inc., from March 2002 to May 1, 2007.
