Ms. Burke-Afonso serves as Division Head of College Coach LLC. Ms. Burke-Afonso served as Senior Vice President of Client Relations of Bright Horizons Family Solutions, Inc. She oversaw the management of a variety of business systems, including the management and tracking of all new centers in development. She was responsible for the implementation of support services for its centers and operations in Europe. During her 12 years at Bright Horizons, Ms. Burke-Afonso has built an extensive knowledge-base in all areas of business. She served as Division Vice President, Senior Vice President of Business Operations and Controller at Bright Horizons. Prior to joining Bright Horizons, she served as the French controller for BOSE Corporation and controller of their retail division in the U.S. She worked on the audit staff at Price Waterhouse LLP in Boston from 1986 to 1989. Ms. Burke-Afonso received her BS in accounting from Boston College and is a Certified Public Accountant.
