Camp Bow Wow Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

There wasnt really and interview i was just asked if i liked dogs

The manager I talked to was very nice and kind to me and they were straightforward and they told me I'm most likely gonna get the job and I got the job.

Quick communication to get you working asap.

It was more casual but they were acting like they were doing me a favor by allowing my piercings when they allowed them all along. Lame.

Down to earth and fun.

That the actual manager took the time to train the right way

They talked up the training and system which i havent seen in actual practice.

Quick and easy to get through the process

Was easy to talk through

The manager was nice person

Review from Operations Dept

How open my manager was upon hiring was amazing. Ive never met someone who would be completely real about everything. I didnt feel like they were blowing smoke.

friendly good at explaining everything.

They let you work for a few hours to see if you like it

Initially I liked it because it was very open and promising. However I now realize it was merely a baiting tactic to attract employees to work in an unfair work environment that underpays for its tasks and shows blatant favouritism.

I really felt like it would be a supportive and diverse workplace. I was looking forward to many days hanging out with the dogs in manageable groups and doing the enrichments. Cleaning poop cans was a small price to pay for all those snuggles.

Not that much could improve

That it was a group interview.

Review from Sales Dept

being hired as a counselor but getting promoted to a GM because the original gm quit due to receiving threats from the owner.

It was quick. He didnt ask hard questions so it wasnt a lot of pressure.

It was pretty straight forward and easy, they will basically hire anyone because the turnover rate is so high, I've been working here 3 years and seen over 50 people come and go. However, I think the interview process did not give me an accurate idea of what my job would entail

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Find out a little bit about potential hires. The only question I was asked was how I would break up a dog fight. Of course I was also hired due to years of experience in dog daycare and veterinary medicine.

Nothing it wasn’t hard
