Canada Post Corporation Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Good insurance, could be better on pension

The salary remains the best part of the package - although managerial jobs are paid less than in the private sector, the environment is also less stressful

Accessibility to Pension, Healthcare plan

Nothing, casual have no benefit

Benefits are good. Really really.

The benefits and time off

Canada Post pension plan i think is very competitive

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

long term disabiliy last 2 years

It's overmanaged with no knowledge of the mail process.

Having the same rules for everyone. As it is now, some classifications can carry over lieu days, others cannot. Having a decent break schedual, and not at the last hour of shift. Happens because of trucks and poor shift scheduals. Clothing allowance, your personal clothes and winter coats get ruined

compensate all benefits to the present year of cost

Costs of many of our benefits have risen considerably. Benefit amounts & such should match those increases. Glasses, massages, etc.

Review from Operations Dept

A wage high enough to buy food and pay rent.

Proper hourly pay. Get rid or tiered pay structure.

We make less than any other government agency. Leadership does not seek our input when restructuring our jobs, causing total chaos and irrational processes.

It's all stick and no carrots. Management makes ridiculous decisions without ever consulting the end users. The benefits look good on paper but Canada Life ensures that they are extremely difficult to access.

Some Bonuses and better benefits

Earning a proper wage for the economic industry.

Being paid by the hour and reasonable vehicle expense would be a start

Review from Operations Dept

Paid better, less management lying about losing money.

Better wages and benefits, fair supervision

The brass doesn’t realize what we put our bodies through every day. Our compensation is less than our competitors. Our benefits need to reflect the physicality of our job

Review from Operations Dept

Raises are not given and only mandated from court appointed arbitrators.

Proper and fair pay increase

People doing the same job are being paid significantly more

More money!!! Get rid of the 2 tier system

If they would actually negotiate a contract that would benefit the employees and not just the corporation
