Union protects you from most basic hassles.

Everything is good about it

Friendly and easy going management

That I am the co chair of health and safety, and we as a committee we have done amazing things helping employees make there jobs safer and cut down in the iod's per year.

The leasership team involves its middle management in the decision making process

Most of the information is hidden. Including how many covid cases in a unit. They need to be transparent.

Care about bonuses only. Dont care about workers who got out in rain, storm, ice and snow. Always says safety first. But then you have to finish this. Go work in the dark, in the icy and wet conditions. And always watch your back

They are attempting to transform the company to being a better global citizen and better employee engagement and improve union relations

Review from Operations Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Staffing, doing their job and stop passing it on to floor employees. Provide workers (inside) with company uniforms, instead of us having to rummage through old donated items. Provide winter gear for all dock workers. Understand the work progress. Fix health and safety issues.

Working together as a team. Systems should run the same in each depot across the board! Or at the very least, in the same city/region.

Telling the truth and treating workers better

Paying to attention to what employees are saying. We're the ones out on the street every day, and we know what works and what doesnt. Realize that what looks good on paper isn't always the best way.

Trying being a human being.

Thin their own herd. Stop spending money on reinventing the wheel. Trust their employees.

Having a conscience and treating employees with respect

Better organisation , need to anticipate problems

They need to get better at understanding that a person can only work so fast and should be happy that people get the job done instead of nickle and diming minutes here and there

Understanding the job instead of making up rules and procedures from behind a desk.

People skills and management style with transparency

Listening to others that actually do the job

Review from Operations Dept

Staffing, communication. Humanity. Compassion. Organization.

Accounting for how we actually need to do our work

Informing employees of the ever changing policies.

Recognizing the work that we do and that we are humans, not robots. The human body can only take so much before it quits.

Review from Operations Dept

Safe work environment, its a hostile management, it makes it hard to work with constant Bullying, discrimination and targeting individuals are all daily occurrences.

Top heavy corporate executives reduced

At communicating with the employees about our future
