I've worked at Capgemini (USA) for over 8 years now. Great way to experience different industries and business models. Since the iGATE acquisition, newer employers receive less compensation. I'm hoping the company becomes more competitive in hiring and retention.
What makes you most happy at work?
Knowing that my team supports me and I support them.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I would like to see an increase in the percentage contributed to our 401Ks.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was a phone interview with people who would be my daily colleagues. We have switched to virtual now, which makes it easier to connect.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Management consulting is a self-driven career. I like the leadership team's decision to support a learning environment for all interested employees. Employees are also able to contribute to the development of capabilities and offerings.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I love the inclusive nature of my teams. Team Spirit is one of our values and it is true. I have my immediate project team, but I am able to reach out to other colleagues across the world and we can converse as if we're sitting in the same room. It is an amazing feeling.
