The Operations team, with 100% positive reviews, reports the best experience at CarGurus compared to all other departments at the company. The Marketing team offered the most constructive feedback, with 7% of that department's reviews constructive in nature.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They should be more proactive in putting their goals into place. There is a lot of discussion surrounding current employee attrition issues but there has not been any action taken. We are asked to do lots of data gathering as employees through surveys etc, and as an IC there has been no result.

Because I onboarded by myself, I feel like the groups have already set in stone. They are very friendly, but I don't feel comfortable just starting a conversation with them.

I've experienced a lot of inefficiency/anxious activity which trickles down to teams from leadership taking on projects that don't either align or make sense with our current strategy. It feels to me as though some of our leaders are afraid to say no or push back and the end result is burnout.

Working in the same position after a while gets boring. Promote from within to retain talent, and allow for additional opportunities. I.E someone from product to work a role that interest them in talent, etc.
