Very high salary which is tax free. 40 days of vacation a year + you can be buy additional days almost for free, in general one can count 50 days of vacation (double of what's normal). At the same time you can live in France where live is much cheaper than in Switzerland.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
CERN has enormous budget. Instead of overpaying a few lucky well positioned individuals, it should cut the salaries (they will be still high) and Hire more new people.
