Its been a very cool and interesting experience. I worked here at checkr for 14 months as a contractor. I was hired as a fte 7/27/20. I have worked in the office all pandemic. I am hoping to become a manager, I have expressed this openly, but I do not feel like that is what I am working towards.
What makes you most happy at work?
I am most happiest when completing a milestone or project.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are all smart and hard working people. They are also very easy to get along with.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
That Checkr is trying to be better and fairer, still a very long way to go though.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that they aren't arrogant or entitled. They interact with me like anyone else. We have a great Exec Team
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I don't feel that it's done on purpose but I do feel like I am not considered like other people would be. My onboarding was chaotic, no one remembered my checkrversary , not clear on development. I have been in the office all pandemic as an FTE but no commuter or lunch benefits.
