Good strategy and values, but line managers sometimes do not have them embedded in their genome

A very combative environment in their Nigerian office on its largest project. Operations is led by a zoologist with no prior experience in the sector, she had too much power, it's either her way or the highway. She had no compassion as is expected in the sector, she lies her way through.

I have been with the organization for 6 years. Worked on three projects TAWA, RWM and LTA. When I came to work, I was a communication assistant. Now I'm a communication specialist. This is a company that gives every employee the opportunity to develop. Many of us have learned a lot along the way.

Not allocate too much power to an individual. Ensure personnel from the home office are trained about cultural differences in the field. they need to understand that the sector is driven by compassion.

Openness and disposition of people conducting interviews. They ask questions not only about future work, but also outside of work. Experience always makes itself felt. So it was a pleasure to interview 3 project managers, because the kind of leaders who are chosen at Chemonics are rare to find.
