Chevron Corporation Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

pension and four more words

The money and medical benefits.

Pay is good. If you contribute 2% of pay towards 401k, Chevron matches with another 8%. There are performance-based bonuses. Premium share on benefits is a little high, but benefits are good quality.

The salady and my benefits

the pay seems fair to the industry

ISAP/IRAP compensation from company is one of the most lucrative programme.

Review from Engineering Dept

I'm not sure about this option

Great helpful benefits carefully well

Review from Sales Dept

Excellent mix of compensation and benefits

received at the right time and the right amount

Yearly bonus and equitable salary.

Bonuses and work from home or remote work

The base salary is good

Health Care, retirement, PTO, flexibility

It is comparable to the best you could get anywhere in the world

Review from Engineering Dept

Some at risk, some not.

Review from Engineering Dept

Paid holidays and vacations time

Review from Customer Support Dept

Annual Bonus is comparable and fair

Review from Finance Dept

No longer have many to choose from.

Review from Operations Dept

8% contribution and the pension

Review from Operations Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

should be more closely tied to actual performance rather than recognition only so far as "we" can due to "equity" issues.

Women and minorities are HIGHLY preferred. White males over 45 have limited if any career advancement left

Review from Engineering Dept

Lack of promotions and pay raises.

Review from Business Development Dept

The work is too extensive and they expect top quality work and the pay scale doesn't match

Review from Customer Support Dept

I feel like I do more work then I get paid for

Review from Customer Support Dept

If i actually received any compensation at all, that would be enough to make me feel better about it.

Compensation is barely above federal mandated minimum wage. A 2% pay raise after four years is an insult.

Review from Sales Dept

I am qualified enough and a valuable enough asset to deserve a raise

Review from Sales Dept

Chevron should consider more stock / equity at lower levels (pay grades) to be more competitive in the workplace and increase retention.

Needs to be raised To better standards.

Review from Sales Dept

The pay is not regionally equitable across Upstream and downstream assets.

Review from Business Development Dept

Insurance is high and as well as deductibles for a Super Major.

Review from Operations Dept

I feel chevrons pention is set up to try and force u to stay till you get older to reach the full benifits of it but in doing this they hold the cards to lay you off before reaching the age to do so . Other companies are doing it evenely throughout your career not just all on the back end

Review from Operations Dept

My Experience is undervalued. 20% more.

Review from Business Development Dept

GP can be assigned anywhere, anytime. Especially when working on ballast tanks on anti-corrosion jobs.

Review from Engineering Dept

More upward mobility for minorities.

Review from Finance Dept

Wages are getting better but still paid less then occupations with much less risk to life and health. Medical coverage gets worse not better.
