Chevron Corporation Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Most have been with the company for a long time and care about the employees. There are some that seem to only care about the bottom line or shipping jobs overseas.

I love our Chevron leaders

Nice ish and mostly approachable

they have a clear vision and are working to overcome challenges

The team takes you along the growth, it motivates you to achieve the best of your competence to help the company grow to its full potential

Review from Engineering Dept

always keeping the employees abreast of the company status and clear communications in all directions.

Review from Engineering Dept

The communication I'm usually not at work during the week, but when I come to work I get filled in on everything that has happened and needs to happen to keep our store the best store, the cleanest store in the district, everyone really pulls together

Great nice friendly helpful awesome

Review from Sales Dept

The Leadership Team is always ahead of the business environment

Better than others. Welcoming to others

They are leaders by example.

The One Team behaviour, inclusiveness

They have a hard job and gathering information from a fluid environment is tough. Dealing with the new green politics make managing very difficult.

Focus on the next decade!

Listening , role model of doing thing , walk the talk

It is very good when avery thing best. That is the way why I like leadership team is best

focus on the bottom line and shareholder value for the most part

Leadership capabilities and decision making

Review from Engineering Dept

Most of them truly lead!

Review from Engineering Dept

Strong ethics, leadership and management. Very active in seeking diverse global feedback from employees. Truly believe in company values and vision. Long term focus!

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Learn to listen, not just hear.

Focusing on the weak link employees and get them to pull their fair share of the work load.

Review from Sales Dept

Chevron is a good company but they really nosedived these past 10 years. They show no appreciation to the workers especially at the LLP anymore. Supervisor at LLP is the worst and hires family and friends Nepitism at its best

Review from Operations Dept

They spend too much time micro managing and not enough time or effort into team building.

Review from Operations Dept

Start caring more about employees, the environment, and health and safety than you care about your bonuses and profits!

Review from Operations Dept

Listen to their employees and treat them better

Review from Operations Dept

Less focus cutting staff and facilities in volatile time and cost cut in better ways. Slash and burn to cut cost hurt the company in the long term

Review from Operations Dept

I worked in Midcon, Ambu, and SJVBD. The first two were decent as far as support went. SJVBD was terrible. The culture was gossipy and very anti outsiders. Rotating field personal were made to pay for their own parking at airports and not given options to transfer to other business districts.

Review from Operations Dept

I do not have interaction with office leadership only direct offshore leadership I have 23 years in the oil and gas industry and find it hard to believe that some of the people chevron has put in leadership roles out there are the best person for the position

Review from Operations Dept

The leadership should be technicaly profound and care about their people success not about their own only.

Review from Business Development Dept

Recognizing hard work versus networking skills.

Review from Finance Dept

Keeping people in position longer so they take ownership of their area instead of shipping them out after a year or two
