Mr. Pepper served as the Senior Vice President of Franchise Development of Choice Hotels International Inc., from January 1, 2005 to December 2005. He was responsible for franchise sales for Choice Hotels International Inc.'s new construction brands. He served as Senior Vice President of Franchise Growth and Performance at Choice Hotels International Inc., since December 2005 and its Senior Vice President and Division President of Upscale and Extended Stay Brands until July 2007. He served as Vice President of Franchise Sales from June 2002 to January 2005. He served as Vice President of Franchise Sales with USFS in Atlanta, Georgia from 1996 to June 2002. He has more than 14 years' experience in hotel franchising and the hospitality industry. He spent six years with US Franchise Systems as vice president of franchise sales for Hawthorn Suites and Microtel Inns. Mr. Pepper was instrumental in the development for new prototypes for the Sleep Inn, Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites and MainStay Suites brands. He also spent five years with Holiday Inn Worldwide as a director of franchise sales. He is a Graduate of Tufts University.
