It was hard, but I learned a lot of skills that have helped me throughout jobs and personal life. I wouldn't go back unless management is better. But I challenged myself to the point I didn't know I could get to.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communication within cast members as well as managers and cast members. Team work is key.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
When we are having a good, positive day, everyone's mood feeds off of each other and we are all enjoying the work.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I felt I was doing a manager job for minimum wage. If I was just acknowledged a slight bit more, even with words from the manager, I'd feel better about working.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The manager who interviewed me made me feel as though Chuck E. Cheese was a second home and he'd take care of me if I promised to dedicate myself to the company.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
We tend to hire a lot of younger people, they need to realize this is a serious job and try to gain skills they can take to other jobs or personal life. Not play around and think of work as a social event.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The management above management does nothing to help. They train people for months but don't take the time to see if the place is actually holding up in the first place. Our store needed help and we had our district manager come in multiple times, nothing changed. We'd go through tons of managers.
