Cisco Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Stock options are valuable and appreciated. However there was no room in the budget this year for COLA raises or option refreshes.

Compensation is fair and very rewarding

Stocks are the est part

Benefits including time off and time to give

No cap for commission for my current role

Thank you for sharing this

Review from Engineering Dept

Mental health financial aid in all geographies.

The health plan balance to salary.

Good pay, solid benefits, great health cover

They are in a correct zone with market standard and skill availability.

Employee Purchase plans and flexible working environment and leave

I have a livable wage and great benefits

Review from HR Dept

Medical benefits are very competitive.

Review from Customer Success Dept

My base pay is the best part.

All of my concerns and questions about coverage have been addressed.

Review from IT Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I believe my job is miscategorized for comp comparison because of the function i sit in

The numbers are well below the market and they just dodge the reality by rotating the prism through which you look at the numbers to make them look more colorful.

better base pay, RSU and bonus will make feel happy

Better pay parity between old and new employees

Review from Marketing Dept

The pay and insurance dint match

Based on my skills I m getting under paid

A pay increase equal to current market conditions.

A scale Less compared to peer organizations

Pay range should be increased

More base pay, with other benefits.

Market is paying higher than cisco

Salary is laughable to be in the Silicon Valley. They should at least give you $130k

I am being paid less than my male peers, and as we are transitioning to actually be paid by Cisco there is a salary cap to all of us in this position and we cannot negotiate for more despite tenure.

Review from Operations Dept

Looking at the other employment options in the space and their associated compensation highlights a distinct gap. If that gap is not closed something must offset it such as security or benefits. Yet the alternatives are stronger there as well

Accounts managers are well over compensated compared to technical roles (sales). the gap is way too big to be justified, considering the work on technical and competitive positioning is becoming more and more dominant while AMs tend to lose the ability to position well

Review from Sales Dept

I should have been paid more

Review from Engineering Dept

Executive compensation. Now the company focuses just on lower grades

Review from Operations Dept

i like my benefits because it helps me

Review from Product Dept

Too low. I need a min 20% hike.
