What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leading. There is no leadership at Coldwater Creek, only toxic micromanaging and churning through talent.
Start from scratch, hire new, innovative and non toxic management.
Financial management and the merchandising group is very out of touch with the demograhpic.
Old outdated methods and opinions. Need to stop micromanaging from the top level.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Along with compensation, to be treated fairly, with honesty and respect would also be appreciated.
There is no advancement. It is a company without a future.
Senior leadership, especially CEO and Merchandising is driving the company into the ground. They churn and grind through executive and midlevel employees because they are seen as disposabe.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Their Committment to the brand.
Everyone is just hanging on. We roll with the punches that top leadership doles out everyday.
Honestly want the company to do well, despite coming in everyday and being micromanaged to death.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
To trust the leadership plan for the future. Or is Coldwater Creek just an asset to be liquidated by the holding company?
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was a sinking ship already when I was hired, so any warm bodies that applied got good treatment during the interview process

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Coldwater Creek brand was restarted with the same retail practices that drove it into the ground in the first place. The demographic was all wrong. Cheaply made imported clothing at high costs with poor fulfillment isn't working the customers of today.
Since it's second inception, the demographic is elderly and on a fixed income. Clothing is perceived as low quality, overpriced and stale design. Also, customer service/fulfillment is abysmal.
