Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My leadership team is extremely friendly and approachable. However, they also set realistic, but not too easy, goals for employees.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Their main focus is self centered and they are I'll equipped to do their jobs.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Comp plan and benefits are solid. There is no equity stakes, which is kind of bizarre, but they do provide great retirement matching.
While the pay is not as high as I would like, the other benefits outweigh it! There are several health plans offerings to choose from with a decent amount of the premiums picked up by the Bank. Additionally we have a WRAP pension plan and a percentage of our 401(K) deferrals get matched.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

What are some of the best things about your team?
Solid people. Like to work hard and get loans booked.
My team is extremely hard working and everyone is able to get along. My teammates are genuine and have great insights.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The holding company. The local executive management could be eliminated and the bank would save costs on the salaries and probably operate more efficiently.
The company cares about employees and it shows. We are encouraged, and enabled, to come up with a healthy work-life balance.
The atmosphere. Its work, but together we make it doable.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?

What did you like most about the interview process?
During my interview I got to meet people at different staff levels which helped me get a sense of the environment and what would be expected from me. It also gave me ample opportunities to ask questions.
Honesty right up front on what is to be expected from each employee.

When I dont have to deal with my boss or others in the executive team
My coworkers and doing a great job at my assignments.
