Contentstack Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I appreciate the thoughtful approach to compensation that both recognizes performance and motivates continued success.

Review from Sales Dept

the best part is the base + bonus

Review from Marketing Dept

My salary and yearly bonus

Review from Marketing Dept

Health benefits, specifically I like the vision package

Review from Sales Dept

I like the salary and time off

Review from HR Dept

Its competitive with the market. The non-monetary benefits (culture, etc) are really the best part!

Review from Finance Dept

The health benefits are top tier

Review from Marketing Dept

Affordable family health insurance premium

Review from Customer Success Dept

High base salary and potential for annual bonus up to 10%

Review from Marketing Dept

salary, bonus, PTO allowance, stock comp, health benefits

Review from Finance Dept

I feel like I am already paid fairly - but having the extra money each month designated as a "cell phone and internet allowance" helps with the cost of working from home. This is a tiny perk with a large impact. It makes me feel like Contentstack actually values their WFH employees.

Review from Product Dept

Good healthcare options. Love the time off between Christmas and New Years. Love that we have Juneteenth off.

Review from Marketing Dept

Paid time off allowance and the ability to roll over some of your unused time off.

Review from Sales Dept

I have a clear goal with my compensation what I should be doing to hit company goals. My personal benefits are fair and support my family. Anything I dont have with my current plan would just be added value and I dont specifically feel I am missing out

Review from Sales Dept

The equity potential is great

Review from Finance Dept

i feel like it is very fair for the market- good split between base and commission, robust healthcare plan, and allotted sick time + PTO is amazing

Review from Marketing Dept

Fair compensation, good health benefits, 401k match, all the basics.

Review from Sales Dept

The uncapped commission which encourages you to go above of your target

Review from Sales Dept

work/life balance(pto)- I do not use the other benefits.

Review from Operations Dept

I like that health insurance is somewhat reasonable in terms of options and cost.

Review from Marketing Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

If you look at the industry averages, there's no doubt that I'm on the lower end of the salary range for my role. If Contentstack were to compensate employees based on region and where the employee is based, that would be a step in the right direction.

Review from Marketing Dept

It’s not that I feel undervalued, over the years, Ive built up my skills, taken on significantly more responsibility, and Im aware that the current market rate for my role is higher. I

Review from Marketing Dept

The base compensation and lack of a ramp period for commission is below what I have been compensated in the past, and doesn't seem aligned with the market rate for senior managers.

Review from Business Development Dept

No more summer fridays this year

Review from Customer Success Dept

I wear a lot of hats and have foresight into how things pan out. I raise these flags early but leadership doesn't recognize the issues until it's too late when they could have just listened to people in the field.

Review from Sales Dept

I think if the company expects you to work a 12hr day to get a job done, that should be reflected in pay or benefits.

I think we need more clearly defined roles. It seems like with the growth of the company everyone is wearing many hats and responsibilities are not clearly defines.

Review from Admin Dept

Getting paid equally with my male counterparts doing the same job

Review from Sales Dept

Would like to see better bonuses

Review from Marketing Dept

Not paid at market rate

Review from Customer Support Dept

Compared to similar positions at similar companies, my salary is below market.

Review from Marketing Dept

I feel undervalued because I believe that my contributions and efforts are not being adequately recognized and rewarded. To improve how I feel about my compensation, I would appreciate a fair and competitive salary that aligns with the industry standards. Overall I just love being at this company.

Review from Sales Dept

Additional resources to help with bandwidth and workload.

Review from Marketing Dept

A bump to match national average at my level

Review from HR Dept

I feel that I am under-compensated with my extensive academic degrees and diverse professional experience and background. I would feel better about my compensation if it better reflected the salary range of the area I reside in.

Review from Marketing Dept

I feel undervalued because I have other companies offering a lot more. I would feel better if my salary is higher.

Review from Sales Dept

Sometimes it feels as if compensation is only really pushed if the sales element of the job is enhanced, even if it is a non-sales position. This is true for the majority of perks as well. Save a customer, you get 0. Find a new customer, enjoy your trip to Tahiti.

Review from Sales Dept

Unlimited PTO, higher salary, health and wellness stipend, 1 month sabbatical at 3-5 years employment, tuition reimbursement

Review from Sales Dept

Being paid on par with others in my company who were hired after me.

Review from Marketing Dept

I think my compensation could be better, and our benefits need to be taken up a notch. However, I believe we will get there. Great medical benefits!
