Support, development and mentorship of their employees
The leadership team is no longer stuck in the ways of old. They want to continuously improve to better the company and the experiences for those who work at Cook.
My direct boss is very nice and (usually) understanding! I never feel afraid to speak to him
Review from Product Dept
Leadership keeps the work force up to date.
They are very friendly people
IT, Regulatory, and Quality need to get better at real, meaningful training WAY beyond read and understand training. They also need to demand compliance and current practices.
Open commuincation. Answer questions. Be realistic with expectations.
Ruthless Poor management in all areas . If you are considering Cook Medical as an employer you have made a mistake
COMMUNICATION... TRANSPARENCY...RESPECT... INTEGRITY... QUALITY OVER QUANTITY!
Review from Product Dept
Better Communication and team work.
We have really good insurance and free access to a service that allows us to get second opinions from other doctors. Getting a second opinion is a smart idea because I have witnessed people with our insurance being taken advantage of by the medical community because it is so good.
The PTO leave is fair
Good bonus structures in place
Best money with bonus for hardworking
Overall it has helped raise my family I think some things could be better some things could be more fairly distributed
I celebrated a major milestone anniversary and not a single leader at Cook acknowledged it. Also, many benefits are added for new employees, but not retroactively applied to long term employees (like vacation days). Also, Cook does not publish compensation information by demographics.
More understanding for the person who has worked there more than 10 years.
Cook employees bring in around $160,000 dollars in revenue per employee which is 5 times the salary of the workers themselves. It does not meet the standard of living.
Salaries are rather low and time off as well.
Salary doesn't feel in line with the market. Bonus for non-sales personnel is poor.
Great new employees eager to learn.
Nice people and hardworking too.
everyone cares about the well-being of everyone on the team
The support among my peers us what I appreciate the most
My team is supportive and willing to help out each other get work completed.
They could actually work. And they could do backgrounds like they used to instead of just giving anyone a job
Review from Product Dept
less sexism, less "good ol' boys" culture
Again, communication needs work among all levels.
Review from Product Dept
Diverse backgrounds and mostly respectful colleagues.
My new department is super nice.
Clocking out to go home
Family values by a family run company
Most employees are great, it's the company itself that is well below average.
The attitude of the management.
The culture could be more progressive. More diversity. Less sexism.
Fair wages for all. Less nepotism. All employees should feel valued
Review from Product Dept
Not personal. Just asked me questions.
It has been too long ago to abswer thus question
I wasn't interrogated like I was with Kroger
Review from Product Dept
Easy questions and low expectations. Goes to show they'll hire almost anyone just to get them in the door.
They took me on a tour of the building
Keep personal questions out of the interview
To not ask us personal questions
The fact I work to provide new, quality devices to patients in a timely manner.
The team I work on
Just being at work makes me happy
Completing assigned projects and learning new things.
Money and friendly people good timing
Give a person more credit for being a good worker. And fix the bad co workers. Be 100% fair to both good and bad workers.
They do not compensate their employees
We are always waiting on product material from outside venders. Waiting makes are work flow a mess and puts orders behind. The supervisor and group leaders are stressed and it filters down to the production workers. People are leaving the company for other jobs because of things like this.
Review from Product Dept
Changed attendance policy and not for the better. More paid holidays.
Review from Product Dept
