Well Balanced. Linked to the organization's growth in the true sense.
Review from Engineering Dept
The allotment of RSU's as well as additional one's for performance.

BETTER SALARY ,INCREMENT PLUS PERKS
I think that our compensation packages are too heavily based on stocks and since 40% of our stocks are sold off to cover taxes, it devalues how much our shares are actually worth in the grand scheme of our compensation.
Base salary growth is flat, and equity is very selective, and limited even for those who get it.
Review from Engineering Dept
Compared to my friends in other companies in similar roles and similar backgrounds make more in salary, stocks and enjoy better benefits. A cursory search on Payscale, LinkedIn, etc. also show that I earn less than the 50% percentile.
Review from Finance Dept
I was brought in via acquisition, as a senior member on the team. According to glass door and other salary resources (with data specific to Coupa) I'm about 20k under the market value for my position. I have been told that unless I'm promoted or change job titles, expect small, incremental increases
I feel like it's not in line with what others in my role are making.
Review from Product Dept
The variable is too much and cannot make any financial plans. Change in ESPP (lowest of two dates) is another demotivating factor and might exclude after sep'19
Review from Sales Dept
Compensation is not par with similar companies around me. Salary, bonus, stock and benefits included.
Review from Engineering Dept
The market has changed drastically, new hires with more than half years of experience earn much more.
Review from Engineering Dept
I wish there was more transparency when it comes to what it takes to move up, and a break down of how my value over time matches the market. I was added when the market was less but new hires are making more for the same title, and I think the value I provide should help leverage that difference.
Review from Engineering Dept
The compensation is comparable to most other companies. It is just a matter of expectation.
Review from Engineering Dept
The company doesn't increase the headcount in US dev while the number of tasks is multiplying due to our growth, but the compensation is not adjusted accordingly.
Review from Engineering Dept
Compensation is less as compared to other organizations.
Review from Engineering Dept
Coupa can definitely compete with top engineering companies when it comes to compensation and benefits. The compensation part is not where it needs to be. Annual bonuses and refreshers are really a round robin format from my experience (while it shouldn't be).
Review from Engineering Dept
Just to clarify, my salary is not that bad but it appears to be lower than the average salary we have in our region
Review from Engineering Dept
I've moved up a lot in the same company and don't feel that my base salary has kept pace with my title and responsibilities.
Review from Engineering Dept
I came in underpaid, to prove myself in the role. I feel I have earned a raise, and will approach that topic at the appropriate time with my manager.
Review from Customer Support Dept
it's not equal or even in the same ballpark with my peers in the same roll
Review from Sales Dept
Bonus is performance-based, but the performance is not measured appropriately.
Review from Engineering Dept
Bonus component is quite low compared to other employers in bay area.
