I'm most happy at work when I feel supported by my manager, both in the day to day work and in my career development, and when I am genuinely interested in the projects I'm working on.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I appreciate the flexibility to go to doctor appointments or take time to do the things I need to do in my personal life. I also always feel encouraged to take PTO and am never made to feel bad about taking time off as needed.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I know that other tech companies in my region pay significantly higher for my role than I currently receive at CA. I stay at CA despite this because the benefits work well for me, and the culture is mostly good and very flexible. A more competitive salary would likely keep me at CA long term.
