CA has changed so much in the time I've been here. I feel we used to have leaders and now we have managers some of whom are eager to climb the "corporate ladder" at the cost of others. And this seems to be valued and perhaps encouraged in some ways. Truly makes me sad.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Extremely helpful, supportive. Not judegmental.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Being an example of the skills and attributes they are judging others by.
What makes you most happy at work?
Knowing that I've helped an educator in some way and that hopefully, made a positive difference in the life of a student.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I feel like the culture is in a state of flux right now and some core values don't feel like they are applied universally. Say it like it is for example only seems to apply to certain people in the organization. Many of us don't feel comfortable saying it like it is for us.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
More compassionate leadership that magnifies successes, not mistakes. I feel like I'm still "paying for" a misstep from 3 years ago. Will that be my measure of success or failure in this case for the entirety of my tenure at CA? I d feel better if my compensation was equal to some recent new hires
