Daimler Trucks North America Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They allow engineers to do their jobs without interfering

have shown a very good ability to lead the company through drastic change in the transportation market.

Most of the leadership you interact with is group leaders, and most are very decent people. If you need something or gotta run to the restroom, most are willing to jump in and take over for you for a bit.

My team leadership is very helpful

Under my supervisor and my leads, they go out of there way to make sure we are okay and how that want to ensure that everyone is performing where they need to perform at. They coach and give tips and tricks to make the job easier. They are the reason I enjoy work

Local leaders are strong, wiling to help out the working people.

Mid-level leaders are running the show. The executives sit in glass castles and are completely disconnected from the everyday. No transparency and you can't point out problems for fear of 'making someone look bad.'

Out of touch, care more about budget than products or customers

Nice people to work for

Very diverse, friendly, and overall a great team to learn new principles and ideas

They point out any opportunity for growth

They left you alone to do the job your direct manager asked of you

Good leadership however need to hear more

Diverse and inclusive at times

The leadership team is willing to listen and works to implement constructive feedback.

Good leadership team lile then

Experienced and caring team. Organization is always testing itself and improving.

Their ability to adapt to ensure we live up to Company goals, objectives and expections whole encouraging individual growth.

Very approachable. They know many people's names. Treat you like an equal.

Pay really well and good insurance

Review from Operations Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Upper management need to put people and customers first rather than be exclusively focus on shareholders

Listening to the peolle who do the REAL work

Review from Operations Dept

Treat the workers as if they are important as well hold management to same standard as emioyees. Put the workers in a place to be able to Mecanic there money An the raise is not based on personal feelings

Everything especially treating employees who have been with the company 5 or more years not just recognition but raises they certainly deserve for sticking with the company through thick and thin instead of the new hires getting the good money they haven't even earned.

Everything especially recognizing the difference between harder workers and slackers.

Communication for sure. There are some people in Managerial jobs that simply don't have the skills to be a good Manager. The bonuses are also not good for Middle Management.

understanding what it means not to be a white man

Being leaders of people. They tend to only care about business operations, and not connecting with those that work to support the business.

Respecting employees at all levels, not solely leadership

Review from Operations Dept

managing expectations of new hire employees

They talk a good game but never back it up. They ignore the ideas and efforts of people doing the day to day work that makes them look good.
