What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Payment terms and getting vendors paid is a very cumbersome process
You can ask HR to protect their employees
Inbound delivery is on delay to be unloaded. Outbound shipping is on delay because of broken equipment that does not have spare parts. This causes shipping supply shortages.
Have milk haulers that respect equipment and their dairies and the dairies locations property
No work on the week ends we work some time 6 days no time with family
The freight rates have been raised but the scheduling and customer service to member dairies has gone down.
Mismanagement is the problem. It can be fixed by the board of directors taking the time to investigate the problem and fixing it.
More team work and better communication between departments and employees and more structure
More appreciation for the work we do. More involved with the drivers. We are the backbone of DFA and should be more valued. Better training on Mobile Manifest and Omni Tracs. Please hire drivers with more experience. A lot of damaged equipment and turnover.
