Dairy Farmers of America Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The people I work around

Communication and relationship has worked with relationship it's a good relationship result as a good team work and it also resolved as a magician between the community and where we belong that is how a 100% become 100% of anything you're right accurate so well anyways many people do not understand

The coworkers and supervisors that are there genuinely want to make a change for the better and see the company succeed like it did before the upper management changed.

Everybody gets along for the most part, which is important at a job.

I would say just the overall experience of customers, good challenges, and the team we have make up a good environment so w3 can have fun doing our job.

There is nothing positive, all negative no one can be trusted and no one helps you when you are being harrassed

Review from Operations Dept

The company gives you plenty of hours.

Review from Product Dept

Everything is relaxed but you're still expected to work at a reasonable pace

Review from Product Dept

We all get along and try to get each other succeed.

Review from Operations Dept

They are always open to ideas to enhance the culture

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Supervisors who care about us

8 hour work shifts. More people to cover sick employees & vacation leaves.

There is no culture currently

They are running people in the ground at the Frederick location people are tired underpaid and well over worked

Review from Operations Dept

New management we got bad

Less blaming other depts and provide more support to fix the same occurring problems.

High turn over. Low moral

Review from Product Dept

The management needs to be held accountable for there daily responsibilities or be replaced.

New plant manager that doesn't target employees by use of the video cameras.

Better management and needs to treat the un office people better

Complete change of management. Restructuring. Hire more workers instead of working current employees to extreme amount of hours because it’s cheaper than paying health insurance on new employees. Management waste more money unnecessarily due to inefficient and ineffective decision makin

Better leadership and to account for you time at work.

They treat us like an immigrant work force. Some people work seventy hours. You can only work overtime when the boss says you can. If you are not available for that time frame you get nothing. Try and work other hours that fit in your schedule and they try to get you in trouble. Bottom line first.

Review from Product Dept

Better communication. More involvement with the drivers. Quit cutting the hours every month. Morale is very low and drivers are seriously looking for other employment.

Review from Operations Dept

Company have code of conducts, actually have managers realize what they are and if they want to be managers to obey them. Have upper management to be neutral until they know the facts.

Supervisor need to treat us with respect.
