Dairy Farmers of America Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Farmer focus and wealth of knowledge

My manager is fair. Tough and expects alot, but gives you the tools to do the job. The question he asks alot is what do you need from me to accomplish this task

Bright, hard working people with a passion for the industry.

They are not responsive to employees

For being with the company over a decade for the first time people are treated fairly this is in the past few months.

Unfortunately, I am not overall impressed.

Like to use blame thrower.

Review from Product Dept

I love my branch manager, he goes out of his way to help. But above that there is no vision and no leadership. We are treated awful

They listen to each worker very well and they never make us feel like lesser people because we work a different job.

Theyre nice to everyone and understanding

Thabk you immensly for everything

work as a team treat employes good

Review from Product Dept

They feel like family, always keeping us informed of changes and visit from corporate

Review from Product Dept

How respectful they are, as long as you show up and do your job there aren't any problems.

Review from Product Dept

They listen and try to solve problems as fast as they can.

Review from Operations Dept

Diverse group of mind sets

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Stop rushing so much. I understand supply chain issues in light of the world's current circumstances, but the stress from the higher ups rolls down hill. If we are behind on production, stop rushing CIPs, blends, first-off samples etc. because you are ultimately making it worse and easier for error.

Protecting their employees and keeping them safe

Schedule a 3 shifts that work 8 hours with at least 1 day off. Would be a start. Then fire ALL current supervisors. They are just doing enough paper work to get by.

Understand roles and clear communication

Communicate and hire enough help to handle the work load they take on

Review from Operations Dept

Communication with the working employees

Better understanding and stop putting other people work on us if we not in that position

Quit blaming everybody an work together to fix the issue

Not targeting employees and professionalism.

On everything , the leads and supervisors are always on the phones and some on candy crush not job related

Better management and a better union

Someone who understands what maintenance is and what it is supposed to accomplish.

Listen to their employees more, take care of their employees when they are being harassed and stop sweeping problems under the rug
