I do not think this is a good place to grow as a young employee, if you are working in the states. I think if you work in Italy, the experience is much different. They seem happy and have more provided for them.

Having basic communication and social skills

For the amount of work and effort, the pay is substandard.

Lots of old timers (not management) that like to take their time and joke around
