Executive Bio

Mr. Chris Knapp has been the Chief Executive Officer of The Everett Clinic, Inc. since September 1, 2016 and served as its Chief Legal Officer since 2012, which serves more than 295,000 patients in Snohomish County. Mr. Knapp acts as General Counsel for the Clinic providing strategic and practical advice on legal issues related to all business operations. He plays a key role in legal risk management and issues concerning regulatory compliance, contractual negotiations and claims management. He participates in policy development and legislative affairs and helps guide the Clinic in corporate compliance efforts. Prior to joining the Clinic, he served as a Legal Advisor to The Everett Clinic in his role as Managing Partner and Shareholder at Anderson Hunter law firm. He is active in several professional associations at the local, state and national level. He is a Member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the Washington Society of Healthcare Attorneys and serves on the Board of Trustees of Economic Alliance Snohomish County. Mr. Knapp received his Bachelor Degree from the University of Washington and his Law Degree from the University of Minnesota School of Law.
