Executive Bio

Mr. Misha Palecek serves as the Chief Transformation Officer of HealthCare Partners at DaVita HealthCare Partners Inc. Mr. Palecek joined DaVita??, the dialysis division of DaVita HealthCare Partners, in 2005 as Director of business planning. In that role, he focused on driving strategy, growth and operational excellence. Mr. Palecek served as President at ABQ Health Partners, LLC. From 2008 to 2010, he served as Regional Operations Director, Group Regional Operations Director and Divisional Vice President, leading operations and growth planning for a growing portfolio of dialysis facilities on the West Coast. Mr. Palecek also founded DaVita's 'Village Green' program in 2007, through which he has led sustainability initiatives throughout the company. In 2010, Mr. Palecek became group vice president responsible for over 120 dialysis facilities in Northern California as well as overseeing DaVita's national strategy, operations, and vendor relationships for Home Dialysis. In 2011, Mr. Palecek was tapped to lead the strategy for Paladina Health, a new primary care business affiliated with DaVita. He was instrumental in creating the leadership team and overseeing the operational direction for this innovative care delivery system in the United States, which launched in 2012. At the time of his leadership transition, Paladina Health served approximately 10,000 employees, representing more than 20 corporate clients. Mr. Palecek served at both Merrill Lynch and McKinsey & Company. In 2011, he was recognized with the prestigious Chairman's Award, honoring a teammate (employee) who exemplifies DaVita's seven core values. Mr. Palecek earned his Masters of Business Administration from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and his B.A. in Human Biology with a minor in Economics from Stanford University.
