Mr. Cooper is active in professional associations at the state and national level. He is past Chairman of the American Medical Group Association and former President of the Washington State Medical Group Management Association. He is actively involved in community and civic organizations and serves on the Board of Trustees (Past Chair) for the Economic Alliance of Snohomish County. He supports local human services organizations and is a member of the Tocqueville Society, which aims to change lives through philanthropic leadership and giving. He earned his master's degree in Hospital Administration from the University of Michigan.
