Mr. Lentsch served as Senior Vice President of Flight Operations and System Operations Control of Northwest Airlines, Inc. since October 2008. He served as Vice President of Flight Operations and SOC Administration of Northwest Airlines Corp. from October 1, 2007 to October 2008. Mr. Lentsch served as Vice President of Station Operations of Northwest Airlines Corp. since June 16, 2005 and Vice President Customer Service of Minneapolis until October 1, 2007. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Champion Air from 2003 to 2005. Prior to joining Champion Air, a affiliate of Northwest, Mr. Lentsch served Northwest's Vice President - Engine and Component Maintenance Operations. During his 14 years with Northwest, he held a number of management positions with increasing responsibility including Managing Director-line maintenance operations and Director - aircraft engineering. In addition to Northwest and Champion Air, Mr. Lentsch worked for General Dynamics at Fort Worth, Texas and MTS Systems Corporation of Eden Prairie, Minn. He serves as Board Chair of Bridging, Inc. Mr. Lentsch holds a Baccalaureate Degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics from the University of Minnesota's Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of St. Thomas.
