My team Coordinator is the best at listening and trying to find a win-win situation in every circumstance.
Nothing. They don't listen to any improvement.
They help me with my growth as a designer. Even the tasks were tough
Inclusive, intentional and very compassionate.
The leadership team is transparent, consistent, and professional.
Don't have a voice. All they do is follow the CEO even some decision are unethical
Truly caring about people and not faking it. Its all about lining the CEO's pockets at this point.
Caring about the culture. They have no women on the leadership team. They have no real diversity in HQ, and it’s clear they don’t cate about it. The CEO blasts rap music, but about creating a diverse and equitable environment. They stopped all DEI efforts.
At/above market with Uncapped pto
With uncapped PTO I can take time off without having to feel guilty about it or worry I won't have enough paid days off when I need it. I love it so much.
Fair market + awesome benefits like uncapped PTO, 100% remote,.
The ease with which I'm able to justify a raise of compensation based in truth
Pay is above average. Free chiropractic care!
No other benefits other than monetary compensation
A bit. But it's a wfh, so I don't really mind as long as they don't remove good people.
Getting raises. Don't believe anything they say in interviews.
An annual salary increase would be great, less clients per GD also (7/8 each and lots of deliverables per day)
Equitable pay, more lgbtqia employees at hq, more diversity at hq, more women in leadership positions at hq, more women of color at hq. And feeling like the CEO really cares about somwonw other than himself. A new product leader.
My team is like a family, everyone helps each other
They are great, helpful and they value Design Pickle core values.
Professional graphic designers, care for clients
Passionate people who are super talented
My team is actually a team. We work together to solve problems, we listen to and respect one another. Everyone carries their own weight while helping others at the same time.
coworkers are like dogs who just followed. can't blame them because the management can terminate anyone anytime
My team is very nice. It’s the CEO and executive team that’s terrible.
Worst working environment, too much pressure and blame on the designers whenever they loose a client
Well probably the growth we experience in Design Pickle.
People are amazing - the core values are real and everyone lives them!
No office politics and immature behavior. Everyone checks their egos and many people are courageous to speak up when they don't agree with something.
The people! Everyone cares and is bought into the mission and goals of the company.
Diversity and inclusion. A CEO who's ego isnt as big as our office.
It’s toxic. Not diversity. No inclusion. The CEO is a fraud and doesn’t care about anyone but himself, his money, and being flashy. The leader of product walks all over the CEO and he does nothing. He’s weak.
Everyone was very thorough, but very friendly
It's thorough but also fun. They ask unique questions that are thought provoking. It is several rounds, but there is good retention so it's good to see the interview process is taken seriously on the front end.
The recruiters were great to talk to.
Smooth process. The redueiters were very nice.
if someone is hired we can more than reasonaby know if they will be successful. obviously, there are situations we can't anticipate, but the interview is good at finding talent that fits culture
Too many interviews and tests for too little compensation they are offering
When I get assigned with my strengths in task because in Design Pickle you do everything as a Graphic Designer like Flyers, social media and etc.
Working with some of the smartest people I know
Seeing tangible results and how they benefit others. Creating opportunities for more people to thrive.
Again, it's the people. The hiring team at Design Pickle does an excellent job of bringing on densely talented individuals. Leaders are committed to hiring not only excellent talent fits, but culture fits as well. Not one person at Design Pickle is a low performer.
Some of the people are cool.
Overall, its a poorly ran, unsustainable company.
This a toxic, make dominated culture led by a CEO (but really the product guy) who is greedy, loves to show off, and truly doesn’t care about anyone. He pretends to. I’m so disappointed. There are men of color on the team and no diversity and inclusion efforts. How? Why? No women on the team. Why?
Diversity, more women, inclusion, equitable pay, and a ceo that cares about these items.
