Executive Bio

Mr. Darren M. Rebelez has been President of IHOP Business Unit at DineEquity, Inc. since May 4, 2015. Mr. Rebelez served as the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of 7-Eleven, Inc. and was responsible for its eight regional operating divisions, loss prevention, gasoline and store support. Mr. Rebelez is an Industry veteran and has experience in the food business, having worked for Daka International and for Pepsico restaurants in numerous operational roles. He has broad background in the c-store and restaurant industries. Mr. Rebelez served with ExxonMobil and headed up Franchising for On the Run Franchise. Additionally, he led U.S. Distributor Fuels Pricing and also served as Head of U.S. Category Management. Prior to ExxonMobil, he worked for Thornton Oil Corporation and served as Vice President of Merchandising leading strategic planning, category management and marketing at the c-store chain. He served as President of 7-Eleven's bakery subsidiary. He has been an Independent Director of Torchmark Corporation since February 2010. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Mr. Rebelez holds a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and an MBA from the University of Houston.
