Executive Bio

Mr. Andrew Lecuyer, also known as Andy, has been Senior Vice President of Programming of DISH Network Corporation since April 27, 2017. Mr. Lecuyer is overseeing the acquisition and renewal of programming content for DISH and Sling TV. He leads the team securing satellite and digital rights (traditional linear, Video On Demand, TV Everywhere and OTT) for general entertainment, local broadcast, sports, Latino and movie studio content. He also oversees programming operations. Prior to joining DISH, he served as Vice President of Strategic Planning for a consumer electronics retailer. Additionally, he spent more than four years as a management consultant for McKinsey, covering a wide range of industries including retail and IT services. He joined DISH in 2011 as Director of Programming, overseeing local retransmission relationships nationwide. Soon after, he assumed responsibility for Premium, Pay-Per-View and International programming. He led multiple negotiations to secure landmark programming agreements for the launch of Sling TV, the U.S. pay-TV industry's first live over-the-top television service. In 2017, Cablefax named he to its annual 'Most Innovative People in Multiscreen' list, which celebrates those who fight to create the best multiscreen experience for consumers. He serves on the board of directors for Big City Mountaineers. Following ROTC training during his undergraduate studies, he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where he served four years in progressive leadership roles and achieved the rank of Captain. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Princeton University and a Masters of Business Administration from Yale School of Management.
