Mr. DeFranco co-founded DISH Network Corporation (Formerly known as Echostar Communications Corp.) in 1980 and serves as its Executive Vice President. Mr. DeFranco served as an Executive Vice President of Sales, Distribution, Travel & Events and Marketing at Dish Network Corp. He served as an Executive Vice President of Sales & Distribution Marketing at DISH DBS Corporation and Dish Network Corp. He has held various positions with DISH Network's subsidiaries, including President of Echo Acceptance Corporation, HTS and HT Ventures, Inc. He served as Vice President of Echostar Communications Corp., since 1980. Mr. DeFranco has been a Director of Dish Network Corp. since 1980. He serves as a Director of Echostar Satellite Broadcasting Corporation and DISH DBS Corporation (alternate name Echostar Dbs Corp.). He served as a Director of DISH Broadband Corp. (formerly, EchoStar Broadband Corp.). Mr. DeFranco attended Clarkson College of Technology in Postdam, N.Y., where his academic emphasis was industrial distribution.
