Executive Bio
Mr. Timothy A. Messner, also known as Tim, has been Executive Vice President of DISH Network Corporation since December 5, 2017 and its General Counsel since October 23, 2017. He served as Senior Vice President at DISH Network Corporation since October 3, 2017. Mr. Messner served as its Deputy General Counsel at DISH Network Corporation since October 3, 2017 until October 23, 2017. He is leading a team of more than 20 attorneys responsible for negotiating the DISH's commercial transactions. He joined DISH in 2004 as a junior attorney and has since held positions of increasing responsibility in the legal department. He was a key member of the team involved in EchoStar Corporation's 2008 spin-off from DISH and has negotiated numerous agreements for the DISH related to satellite, content, technology and other strategic initiatives. He graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law with high honors and holds a B.S. in Accounting, with honors, from the Pennsylvania State University.
