Executive Bio

Mr. Vivek Khemka has been Chief Technology Officer of DISH Network Corporation since December 11, 2015 and has been its Executive Vice President of Dish Technologies since August 15, 2017. Mr. Khemka manages Dish Network's video, online and mobile, broadband and commercial products and oversees the development and execution of product roadmaps, strategy, pricing and the user experience. He served as President of Echostar Technologies LLC. Mr. Khemka served as the Senior Vice President of Product Management at Dish Network Corporation since March 2013 until December 11, 2015 and its Executive Officer since April 11, 2012. He served as Vice President of Customer Technology of DISH Network from December 2011 to March 2013. He served as Vice President of Product Management at Dish Network Corp. since 2009. He served as DISH's interim Chief Marketing Officer from November 2010 to June 2011. He served as an Interim Chief Marketing Officer of Dish Network Corp. from November 2010 to June 2011. Before his time at DISH, he served as Director of Business Development at Danaher from 2007 to 2009, responsible for assessing opportunities and leading acquisitions in new and existing market spaces. Prior to joining DISH Network in 2009, Mr. Khemka held various positions at McKinsey & Co. For six years, he served as Senior Director at Motorola Mobile Devices where he created and led the mobile internet and social networking teams. Mr. Khemka also led the product and marketing launch of DISH's HopperTM Whole-Home HD DVR, CNET, Popular Mechanics and PC Magazine. He was honored by Carnegie Mellon University as Entrepreneur of the Year for his work on SmartOps, a supply chain optimization company he founded in 2000. He received the Tata Consultancy Services Award for best undergraduate project at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He earned Master of Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University where he graduated with the Elliot Dunlap Smith Award. Mr. Khemka earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
