The stores are run down and the upper management needs to get a clue. Policys dont make sense and they seem to pick and choose which ones they use when they want to get rid of someone.

Better pay and more recognition
Dollar General doesn't care about their employees. Extra help, extra time to get tasks done would help.
Get rid of toxicity in the company
The insurance is on the high side for what we make per hour

for the amount of work an individual is responsible for getting completed verse the pay is unfair and some shifts end up doing the work the shift before chose not to do. only yearly $.25 raise. having various vendors as well as driveline mention to you that you are the only one they ever see working

What are some of the best things about your team?
They all work hard and we are just like one big family in my store
I have a team of hard working dedicated motivated employees that just need the time a day to put in our hours
We respect each other and try to keep the store clean and stock
Everyone is in contact and helps each other and know what is going on within the store. Everyone tries to be there for everyone whenever possible.

It was fast and easy. The hardest part is finding the correct location on the application just because of the mass of stores all around the world. Overall easy quick and trouble free.

The people and regular customers that make the day better and make you smile or relate to you. It makes you feel like your not just a cashier but that some people actually care about others still. Dollar general in elida ohio does this. I would recommend shopping there to anyone I knew.
