They need to trust the people they have hired to do their jobs without micromanagement. The CEO rules by fear and intimidation.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
The health benefits are unusually generous for the banking industry. The bonus structure is awful, however.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Company needs to pay the employees based on their performance, instead of only focusing on the market rate.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Teammate is good, but management doesn’t care out the employee
understanding , respect, solve the problem and team player
Working with EWB team members is like working with family - people are so sweat, nice and warm. They really care about you.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Focus more on improving the customer experience rather than just obeying rules regardless of impact.
Better training led by third party trainers and not canned bank programs
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Teammates are good, and supportive!

Overall is great but the tech support can be better.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
The CEO needs to retire. The bank has outgrown his management abilities so all other managers focus on pleasing him rather than growing and strengthening the institution.
Regular communication from the top, thoughtful action plans and ability for front line employees to provide input on delivery timetables

The CEO needs to retire. The bank has grown to a point that is beyond his abilities. Other managers focus on pleasing his whims rather than building a strong institution.
