They need to invest, listen, and hear their employees. Stop laying off employees due to inept management.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Invest in your employees, especially women. Listen and engage staff in solutions to problems. STOP the top down, micromanagement approach.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Colleagues are so afraid to speak up for fear of repercussions. The leadership loves this because they can maintain autocratic control.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Pay more and take care of your employees. Diversity is just a number to this company. Nepotism and bias is so prevalent in this company.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

My leader was a chief editor and she rode the coat tails of her staff. She would tell here staff one thing, but stab them in the back or take credit for their accomplishments without proper recognition.
