Mr. Douglas R. Waggoner, also known as Doug, has been the Chief Executive Officer of Echo Global Logistics, Inc. since December 2006 and has been its Chairman of the Board since June 2015. Mr. Waggoner has over 20 years of experience in the trucking industry. He served as Chief Executive Officer of USF Bestway inc. and its President since June 2004. He served as a Senior Vice President of Strategic Marketing for YRC Regional Transportation, Inc. (formerly Usfreightways Corporation (USF Corp.)) since January 16, 2002. Before joining USF, he served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Daylight Transport, Inc. from 1998 to 2002 and he also served as the Chief Information Officer, during which he led the development of a leading edge, enterprise transportation management system. His prior experience includes various positions in operations, sales, marketing and technology with Yellow Freight System, Consolidated Freightways and McLean Trucking Company. He has been an Independent Director of SP Plus Corporation since April 2015. He has been a Director of Echo Global Logistics, Inc., since February 2008. Mr. Waggoner earned Bachelor of Arts in Economics from San Diego State University in 1980.
