Mr. John Guttery has been Senior Vice President and President of Latin America at Ecolab Inc. since October 20, 2015. Mr. Guttery is responsible for the execution of global strategies, day-to-day operations and corporate compliance throughout all Latin American countries in which Ecolab has a presence. He joined Ecolab in 2015 as Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning. Prior to Ecolab, he held various sales and marketing leadership and general management roles with Hilti, A.G., a global leader in power tools, fastening and fire protection systems for the construction and natural resources sectors. He served as the President of Hilti Latin America, S.A. based in Panama. He served as Senior Vice President of Energy and Industry at Hilti Inc. from November 2008 to July 2010. His background also includes sales management experience with Crown Equipment Corp. and Nilfisk-Advance. Mr. Guttery has a Master's Degree in Business Administration from The University of Houston and remains actively involved in the university's Sales Excellence Institute. He graduated magna cum laude from St. Edward's University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
