Mr. Paul Chaffin has been Senior Vice President and General Manager of Global Healthcare at Ecolab Inc. since November 17, 2015. Mr. Chaffin oversees Ecolab's Global Healthcare business and its broad portfolio of sustainable infection prevention and contamination control solutions that are used in all departments of acute-care and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Healthcare ' Europe, Middle East & Africa and Senior Vice President and General Manager of Healthcare ' North America at Ecolab Inc. Prior to joining the Healthcare team in 2008, he served as Vice President of Emerging Businesses for Ecolab's Institutional division. He joined Ecolab in 2004 as Vice President of New Markets. Prior to Ecolab, he served as Vice President of Marketing for International Multifoods, where he led the integration of International Multifoods with the J.M. Smucker Company. Prior to International Multifoods, he served a variety of roles with the Pillsbury Company including Marketing, Sales and Finance. He served as a Director of the Joint Commission's Center for Transforming Healthcare as well as a couple of small private companies in the financial services and technology industries. He holds Bachelor's Degrees in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Michigan. He also holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
