Mr. Roberto D. Mendez, also known as Bobby, has been an Executive Vice President of Ecolab Inc. since December 2011 and has been its President of Global Services & Specialty since September 2012. He serves as President of Global Services & Specialty and Executive Vice President of Ecolab Limited. Mr. Mendez served as President of Global Specialty at Ecolab Inc. from December 2011 to September 2012 and served as its Executive Vice President of Global Specialty from May 2011 to December 2011. During his 30 years with Ecolab, he held a variety of other leadership positions in International, Institutional, Food & Beverage, Consumer Sales and Janitorial Services divisions. Prior to joining Ecolab, Mr. Mendez served as the Youngest General Manager of a premier hotel resort in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Mr. Mendez serves as a Trustee of the Food Marketing Institute Foundation and the Natural Science Center of Greensboro. He served on the board of directors of the United Way of Greater Greensboro. He served as Chairman of the Latin American & Caribbean Leadership Committee and the Latino Professionals Forum, where he serves as a Member. Mr. Mendez is a graduate of the St. Vincent Academy and completed Cornell University's hotel management executive program.
