I have been here for half a decade and will hopefully stay here 2x as long from now. I love the people I work with and for and that culture makes for comfort, respect and admiration. I have seen a lot of change, which is exciting and enticing.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Very healthy culture and team. Some of it is self cultivated, but a big chuck of it is out of respect and curiosity from peers.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I work on a really great team. We get along very well, educate each other and are listened to and respected by leadership. Can't ask for much more!
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Having quality benefits for families is number one, top of the list. Having perks to go with that are also really nice. Stock options are also nice and hope to cash them in one day.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I really like how the leadership team at Egnyte handles not only the day to day operational functions, but the strategic vision of where we should be 1 year from now, 2 years, etc. Having short term vision and drive is great to attract new business, but strategic keeps them here.
What makes you most happy at work?
I know I keep saying "respect" is a big part of this, but it is. If you don't feel respected in your role, it is hard to feel like you are part of something big. I feel from day one that I AM part of something big which makes me eager to come to work every day.
