Salary is not par with the industry average (based on my industry analysis as well as, more importantly, comparing with pay package of my peers/friends in other companies

Inflation is at an all-time high, in my area, cost of living is increasing exponentially. I am being headhunted constantly from companies claiming to pay much more generous salaries. It is a matter of time before high level talent in non-management positions move on to other organizations.

Industry standards have changed and some departments took a lot longer to realize this and compensate for it. I would say it is working in the right direction however if you label raises as inflation and not due to performance then it might be harder to retain them as employees.

What did you like most about the interview process?
It seemed like a conversation, it was not probing but they genuinely cared about the knowledge and experience I possessed and was more behavioral centric - so overall a great experience.
