Taking responsibility, stop lying to staff, stop threating staff with the loss of insurance so people work sick. Properly pay employees based off of experience and expertise. Not making employee take on additional roles without a pay increase.

For our hospital manager not to ask us if we've heard gossip or drama, to "spy" on other associates to see what they're gossiping about. When clients call us curse words, belittle us, threaten us, for our hospital manager to defend us and not justify the client is having a bad day.

I have no bad attendance or tardiness, i come in on my off days to help when needed, i stay later than im supposed to because people always call in, i multi task all over the hospital. I fullfill my communication tasks when handled to me and don't have to be reminded of my duties.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Aside from the "gossip and drama" my hospital manager always asks about, there is no gossip or drama within techs, receptionists, doctors. No bad tension either. We all help and communicate. All the negativity is within our hospital manager.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Nothing. I mean vca might have a good culture. But it's not present at the hospital I work at. Mainly because of the hospital manager. She seems more concerned about her bouns while we can't even get a gift card on tech week. Or a holiday bonus of some kind. Vca gardenstate, nj

Our hospital manager taking care of her employees. She is very money hungry and will put a cursing angry client first than her team. She prioritizes clients that have cursed at us, called us explicit names, causes drama by dragging other employees in.

I genuinely enjoy my team, I have a passion in wanting to grow in this company. Yes we have little arguments but who doesn't, we move on and we all help each other. Its just our hospital manager brings us down and I wish more people weren't so afraid of her and would speak up.
