I admire how quickly we're "going", but I think we're going too fast for most. Egnyte is a place for certain people. Some will thrive, while the majority struggles. I guess you gotta have what it takes to be an Egnyter. That's about all I can say.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I admire the leadership team's drive to get everything "going" as soon as humanly possible.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We're generally on the same page most of the time and tend to agree on the same things.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It's pretty laid back in terms of traditions. I can wear cargo shorts as much as I want, where my previous employee required me to wear cargo PANTS every day.
What makes you most happy at work?
I like what I do for a living, and Egnyte let's me do what I like to do for a living. That's not to say it comes without stress, but beats the heck outta doing something you hate to do all day long.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am compensated fairly in accordance with my Title, but I don't feel like I have any clear job responsibilities. It feels like an environment where "everyone is responsible for everything". I believe every human should be paid fairly for the work they are doing, whatever the work may be.
