The product is and has been the strength of the company, and rightfully so, because it really is an amazing tool using it myself prior to being hired. I'm witnessing a company shift towards investing more into the people and brand presence to ready ourselves for a MASSIVE (and good) change.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
It's an old company that's getting deeply refreshed. It's nice having a strong sense of ownership with the companies growth, and it's exciting to see new teams being built.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Being immediately fully vested was definitely a pleasant surprise.

We have a very diverse team providing an environment for different ideas and perspectives.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Based on how many different roles I fill, I work beyond my given title.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They make calculated risks and know when to hold when things are not in our favor.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Transparency. We admit our faults and try our best to fix it or make things better.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love how accommodating it is. They understand that our personal lives come first, but trust us to get the work done at the end of the day.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are a very lighthearted team that appreciates when the environment is not as heavy. We work together to get things done and not out of competition or politics.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They really listen to their employees with new hire meetings with the CEO, having transparency and real actions when we bring up concerns, and being realistic with objectives and company goals.
What makes you most happy at work?
The company is invested in making their employees happy. I see a lot of big changes coming down the horizon, and it makes me very excited to be part of the growth.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We don't have egos. It makes collaborating a lot easier when we are all on the same page and have clear communication without the fear of having someone or our own feelings hurt.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our leadership is very realistic and transparent with our company growth. Despite being a startup, we feel significantly more mature, and I think that's due to the expectations and responsible tones that leadership sets.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The people. They reflect a positive environment in which it becomes more fun to work at. Despite that, the company is pretty respectful accommodating the different work styles to help people focus but not be burnt out.

Egnyte really values mental health and a work/life balance. With the emphasis on remote work now, we've embraced the concept of a "Spark Day" aka a guilt free day off every month to focus on ourselves and avoid burn out.
What makes you most happy at work?
The expectations and trust. I am able to work my chosen hours as long as I responsibly get my work done. I don't have to worry about stepping out in the middle of I can get an early start to make an event after work with less stress.
